Learners are required to complete the theory training prior to choosing one or two practical components.

Demonstrate knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to Code of Practice and the use of EWPs

Assess the worksite, and prepare to use a scissor lift EWP.
Carry out operations in a workplace environment, report faults and damage, and shut down the scissor lift EWP.
Unit Standard 23961 Level 3 Credit 3
Assess the worksite, and prepare to use a truck-mounted mounted EWP.
Carry out operations in a workplace environment, report faults, and shut down the truck-mounted mounted EWP.
Unit Standard 23962 Level 4 Credit 5
Assess the worksite, and prepare to use a self-propelled boom lift EWP.
Carry out operations in a workplace environment, report faults, and shut down the self-propelled boom lift EWP.
Unit Standard 23963 Level 3 Credit 4
Assess the worksite, and prepare to use a trailer-mounted EWP.
Carry out operations in a workplace environment, report faults, and shut down the trailer-mounted EWP.
Unit Standard 23964 Level 3 Credit 2
Assess the worksite, and prepare to use a vertical lift EWP.
Carry out operations in a workplace environment, report faults, and shut down the vertical lift EWP.
